I work in the education industry and when im not doing my main job, i am found involved in a variety of other side interests , some which are for me evolving into a new career path over time.

One of these hobbies is  that I am a journalist writing for 2 well known Australian aviation and railway magazines and these roles allow me to travel to historical places, interview many different people and see some very interesting events. I am also a technical/heritage adviser to the film industry and work with film directors and producers who make military/war movies..

My other main interests sees me assisting in running various railway and aviation tourism projects located around NSW in management, general duties and media roles.

MAGAZINE WORK

I have been writing since 2008 and gained my media work break into the magazine world from friends in the aviation industry. The last few years has also seen me work in my spare time as a freelance journalist contributing stories to the railway and aviation magazines. My work is published in popular magazines such as Railway Digest / Australian Railway History and Australian Pilot. My writing covers business / military / airshow / heritage features stories or reviews, warbird news and pilot profiles.

This then lead into railway media work during late 2011.

My media work enables me to travel to many places across Australia to record historical events or interview people. Examples of my media work have included me interviewing people such as famous American artist Lou Drendel, Garry Cooper ex RAAF pilot, visiting many RAAF/RAN bases in NSW for squadron reviews and covering airshows such as Temora Warbirds.
